Football prediction for Carl Zeiss Jena – Wolfsburg
Welcome once again to our football prediction site! Today we will give you a preview of the DFB Pokal clash between Carl Zeiss Jena and Wolfsburg. Let’s get to business!
Carl Zeiss Jena is a team that currently plays in the German Regionalliga – one of the lowest soccer levels in the country. They are a small club which will try to win promotion for the next season. We can’t say that DFB Pokal is among their priorities right now, but you can be sure they will offer a fight to their Bundesliga opponents. It’s a matter of honour, too.
Wolfsburg are not a club which needs any representation. They are former champions of Germany and usually playing on a high level in the elite division. This season they have a new manager as well – the former Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac. Until now the Croatian was coaching Monaco in France, but he decided to come back to Germany. It’d be curious to see how Kovac will do with the Wolves – it’s an exciting challenge for him for sure.
Wolfsburg made some interesting moves on the market this summer. They paid 10 million euro to Lech Poznan for the Polish winger Jakub Kaminski. He’s just 20-years old and he’s going to bring some excitement to Wolfsburg’s attack. At the same time Bologna’s Mattias Svanberg and Dinamo Zagreb’s Bartol Franjic also joined the club. Meanwhile the central midfielder Xaver Schlager left the Wolves and decided to move to RB Leipzig. Kevin Mbabu also left the team and he will continue his career at Fulham.
That’s what our football prediction site can tell you about the DFB Pokal clash between Carl Zeiss Jena and Wolfsburg on Saturday. Are the Wolves going to have an easy one here? We shall see – sometimes it’s not easy in this competition.
